What are management services? Put simply management services involve the operation of a range of administrative and/or financial procedures on an out-sourced basis.
MCL are market leaders in the specialist Management Services field, currently administering concessionary free travel schemes on behalf of 15 County and Unitary authorities with of the order of 1.6 million current passholders. Use of these passes results in the need to reimburse some 400 transport operators totalling what will be in the order of £150million per annum. Data in support of the reimbursement payments is processed and checked by MCL, leading to the calculation of payments due.
